Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth in

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace , acting in and for the
City and Liberty of Westminster , (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint James , That Mary Beale< no role >
Singlewoman hath

lately intruded and came
into the said Parish of Saint James , and is become
chargeable to the same: We, the said Justices, upon Exami-
nation of the Premises, upon Oath, and other Circumstances,
do adjudge the same to be true; and do also adjudge the Place
of the last legal Settlement of the said Mary Beale< no role >
and her illegitimate Child to wit Edward
born the 25th. day of October last to be in the
Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth in the County
of Surrey

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to require
you, the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint James , on Sight hereof, to remove
and convey the said Mary Beale< no role > and her
said iIlegitimate Child Edward
from and out of Your said Parish of Saint James, to the said
Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some, or one of the, together with
this our Order, or a true Copy thereof, who are hereby required
to receive and provide for them according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals, this Twenty sixth Day of
November One THousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Two
