, Gentleman
, maketh Oath and saith
that on or about the twenty sixth day of August last, the
said Defendant departed this Kingdom, for Ireland,
to Answer a Suit instituted against her, in the Court
of Chancery
, there; as this Deponent hath been informed
and verily believes to be true. And this Deponent further
saith that the said Defendant shortly before her said
Departure, informed this Deponent, that she would
return to this Kingdom in time sufficient to Answer
the said Prosecution in Case a Bill of Indictment
should be preferred and found against her. And
Deponent saith that from several Conservations
which he hath had with the friends & Acquaintance
of the said Defendant, as to the time when she was
Expected to return to this Kingdom; he has been
Informed that she was Expected to return early in
the Month of October next, which this Deponent
verily believes to be true
