The Information of Isaac Greentree< no role > Shopman to Michl. Fowler< no role > & John Tucker< no role > of New Brentford in
the said County Ironmongers William Bailey< no role > at Edward
Payne< no role > 's of Ealing in the said County Esqr. taken on Oath
this 24th. day of August 1793 before me Nathaniel Bland< no role >
Esqr. one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County And first the said Isaac Greentree< no role > Michael Fowler< no role > on his Oath
Saith that Yesterday being the 23d. Inst. the Person present
who Saith his Name is Thomas Moore< no role > Came into the Shop
of the said Michael Fowler< no role > and John Tucker< no role > situated
in Old Brentford aforesaid (and with whom this Informant
lives as Shopman) and said he wanted two Spades a
Hoe and handle for Esquire Payne that he this Informt.
accordingly let him have the same on the Credit of the
Edward Payne< no role > supporting he Came from him or by his Order
And the said William Bailey< no role > for himself Saith that
thehe lives as Gardiner with the said Edward Payne< no role >
Esqr. and hath employed the said Thomas Moore< no role > under
him during the whole of the time he has lived with
the saidthe said Edward Payne< no role > that he this Informant
hath the Management of every thing in his department
as Gardiner that there was no want of Tools of any
sort nor did he this Informant give any Orders whatr.
to the said Thomas Moore< no role > to get the same And is
certain that he recd. no Orders from his Master as every
thing of the Kind is left to this Informant And the
saidIse [..] Michael Fowler< no role > on his Oath Saith that the
Spades produced together with the Hoe and handleary
the Property of himself and Partuer John Tucker< no role >
