Take Notice that I intend to
Appeal at the next General Quar. Session of the Peace
to be holden for the County of Middlesex at the Sessinos
House on Clerkenwell Green in the said County of Middlesex
against a Conviction made by you on the 12th. Jany instant on the
Oath of William Turner< no role > for my using or causing to be used
on the 10th day of January instant on a certain Highway in
Old Brentford in the Parish of Ealing in the County of
Middlesex a certian cart without having my Surname
and place of abode painted thereon in large legible Letters
pursuant to the directions contained in and Act of
Parliament made and passes in the 13th. Year of the
reign of our present Sovereign Lord King George the
Third intitled And Act to explain amend and reduce into
One Act of Parliament th General Laws now in being for
regulating the Turnpike Roads in that part of Great
Britain called England and for other purposes And
further take Notice that the Grounds upon which I
prosecute such appeal are as follows namely that my
Christian and surname and place of abode was
painted on the said Cart at the time aforesaid pursuant
