This Indenture Witnesseth That Jeremiah Bradgate< no role > & John Smith< no role > Church Wardens
Robt Marriott< no role > Ralph Alport< no role > William Till< no role > & Wm. Fisher< no role > Overseers of the poore of the parish of
St. Clement Danes in the County of Middx with the assent of Albine Chare< no role > & Hugh Chamberlaine< no role >
Esqrs . Justices of the peace for the County of Middx & Citty & Liberty of Westmr . according to the
statute in that case made & provided same putt Richd Mishell< no role > Apprentice to Thomas Nash< no role > of
the parish of St. Mary le Savoy als Strand in the same County Joyner And with him after ye
manner of in Apprentice to dwell & serve from the day of the date heres for to the full
end & terme of eight yeares from thence next ensueing & fully to be compleate & ended
dureing all which said terme wee the Church Wardens & overseers of the poore with the
assent aforesaid doe order & appointe the sd Richd Michell< no role > well & Faithfully shall force his
Secrett Keepe his Comandmts. lawfully & honest every where shall gladly doe hard to his
said master he shall not doe or consent to be done of other but that he to his peace shall
prvent the same or else from time to time admonish him thereof the goods of his said
master he shall not wast nor them to any body tend without his Consent neither from his
service by day or night shall not absent himself Taverns or Alehouse he shall not
frequent unlesse it be about his Master businesse there to be done at Cards five or any
other unlawfull game he shall not play whereby his Mr: Mary receive any prjudice
Fornicacon he shall not comitt Matrymony dureing the said terme he shall not
contract but in all things as a good & faithfull servt. ought to doe shall be have himself
towards his said master & all his dureing the said terme of eight yeares And the said
Thomas Nash< no role > shall teach & instruct his said apprentice or cause to be taught & instructed
in the trade of a Joyner which he now useth according to his kept shall & knowledge And
shall give & find to his said Apprentice sufficient meate drinck washing lodging
apparell linnen & all other necessaryes meete & convenient for such an apprentice
dureing the said terme And for the true performance of all the Articles in forme aforesd
to be kept the sd parties to these present Indentures bind themselves each to other by
these presents In witnesse whereof the parties to these prsents Indentures
Interchangeably have sett their hands & seales the 28th. day of July Anno Dui. 1690
and in the second yeare of the reigue of Our Soveroigne Lord & Lady William &
Mary over England Etc.
