Examination TextIsaac Brown aged 53 years Lodging at Mr Rawlings in Blue Cross Street in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields on his Oath saith that he is a Painter by trade and lived in and rented a House in Whitcombe Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one year and three Quarters of a year at the yearly Rent of Twelve pounds besides taxes quitted the same about twelve years ago that he hath not Kept House rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year nor paid any Parish taxes since. that he was Married to his Present Wife Eleanor in the Parish Church of St. James Westminster about Nineteen years ago. // Sworn the 18th Day of Jany 1786 Before Wm Hyde // [signed Isaac Brown] // June 15/66 as app by Certificate // S S Wd // ap
