Examination TextSarah Gibbs aged twenty seven years & upwards on her Oath saith, that She never was married nor bound an Apprentice, that she was a yearly hired Servant to Mr. William Dunbar, Haberdasher in Old Round Court, which is in the parish of Saint Martin in the fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex, for the Space of One Year & an half all under One Hiring at the Yearly wages of Five pounds, Diet & Lodging, quitted the same about seven years ago & hath not done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement. And this Deponent voluntary upon her Oath saith that she is big with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard Or Bastards and to become Chargeable to the parish of Saint Martin in the Fields and that John Graham a Mahogany Swayer did beget on her Body the Child or Children she now goeth with & is pregnant of and that he the said John Graham, is the true and only Father thereof and no Man else. // Sworn the 27th Day of June 1786 Before John Collick // Sarah Gibbs her Mark // Ex Wd
