Examination TextMargaret White Aged about 22 Years upon her Oath saith that She never was Married that She was a Yearly hired Servant to Mr. Joseph Frampton in Coventry Court in the parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the liberty of Westminster & County of Middlesex for the Space of Two Years & upwards all under one hiring at the Yearly Wages of Three pounds & that she still continues in the same Service And this Deponent voluntary upon her Oath saith that She is now big with Child or Children, which is or are likely to become a Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields, And that Alexander Webster, a Master Baker in Shug Lane which is in the Parish of Saint James Westmr. did beget her with the Child or Children she now goeth with and is pregnant of and that he the said Alexander Webster is the true and only Father thereof and no Man else // Sworn this 23d Day of June 1786 Before John Collick // Margaret White her Mark // S S Wd // P
