Examination TextElizabeth Pollard aged 17 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years (by the officers of the Parish of St Margaret) to Mrs Mathewson, a Clear Starcher in Durham Yard in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served her said mistress about two years and a half, and then her said mistress left the business and gave up her indenture and she was at large, which is about two years ago, since which time she hath not been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that she was passed from the Parish of St Margaret. Sworn the 14th Day of December 1765 before Peter Planck.
