Examination TextMary Clark aged 45 years lodging in Chymisters Alley in the Parish aforesaid upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Richard Clark (who died 13 years ago), that since the death of her said husband she this Examinant (having no child living) was a yearly hired servant to Mr Baughan a Victualler at the sign of the Rising Sun in Bedfordbury in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one year and an half at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 11 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 4th day of November 1767 before Peter Planck.
