| Examination Text | Harriet Drake aged 33 Years upon her Oath saith that she is the Wife of Joseph Drake (gone from her) to whom she was Married that Saint Martins Church the 18th Day of December 1775 that her said Husband served Six Years under Indenture of Apprenticeship with Samuel Cottrell a Smith in Golden Cross Yards in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields when his Master died that her said Husband had never Kept House rented Ten Pounds by the The year not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that she hath one Child living by aforesaid Husband to wit Thomas born ffeby 5th/88 & now pregnt. Sworn this 24th day of October 1793 before John Collick Harriet Drake her Mark Born Octr 30/93. |
