Examination TextHenry McCrory aged 52 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Clement Danes within the liberty of Westminster upon his oath saith that is Peruke Mmaker by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Charles Pellagrino a Peruke Maker on the pavement (now Mr [?]) in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served his time out which expired about 30 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since, that he was married to his present wife Isabella at the ffleet 27 years ago. Sworn the 7th Day of February 1757 before Benjamin Cox.
