Examination Text | Ann Hessen aged 55 years and upwards lodging at Mrs Curtis's in Moors Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Millington a Silk Dyer the corner of Ivy Bridge in the Parish aforesaid for the space of seven years at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 10 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 25th day of November 1756 before Benjamin Cox. |
