Examination TextRebeccah Skelley aged about 17 years lodging at Mr Mallet's in Red Lyon Court White Hart Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow Patrick Skelley (who died about 12 years ago), that since his death having no children living she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Giddins a Taylor in Russell Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of eight years at the yearly wages of 3 pounds and 10 shillings diet and lodging, quitted the same about two years and an half ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since. Sworn the seventh Day of October 1756 before Benjamin Cox.
