| Examination Text | Mary Thompson aged about 40 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Russell a Peruke Maker in New Round Court in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about four years ago and an half ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the 15th November 1756. |
