Examination Text | Mary Walker aged 25 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr. M[?] a Shoemaker against Old Round Court in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years and an half at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 18 months ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 15th Day of November 1756 before Benjamin Cox. |
