Christian Brady< no role > maketh oath That
Twenty Years Ago or there abouts as she this Deponent now
best recollects & remembers the Ceremony of a Marriage
or Pretended Marriage was had & Solemnized between
this Deponent & one Charles Brady< no role > late of the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the County of Middx
Green Grocer deced by a Romish Clergyman at the
Sardimian Ambassadors Chapel near Lincolns Inn
Fields in the sd County According to the Rites Ceremonies
of the Roman Church by means Whereof She this
Deponent then Apprehended that she became the
Wife of the Said Charles Brady< no role > & that in Consequence
thereof she this Deponent & the Said Charles Brady< no role >
Cohabited together as man & Wife the time of
his death Which happened Sometime in the Month of
November 1773 And this Deponent farther Saith
that the Said Charles Brady< no role > Rented a house Several
Years in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
aforesaid & was Charged to & paid Poors Rates for the same
in Which Parish he died & was there legally Settled at
the time of his death And this Deponent Since his death hath
not done any Act to gain a Settlement for herself.
