best recollects & remembers the Ceremony of a Marriage
or Pretended Marriage was had & Solemnized between
this Deponent & one

Green Grocer
deced by a Romish Clergyman
at the
Sardimian Ambassadors Chapel
near Lincolns Inn
Fields
in the sd County According to the Rites Ceremonies
of the Roman Church by means Whereof She this
Deponent then Apprehended that she became the
Wife
of the Said

& that in Consequence
thereof she this Deponent & the Said

Cohabited together as man & Wife
the time of
his death Which happened Sometime in the Month of
November 1773 And this Deponent farther Saith
that the Said

Rented a house Several
Years in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
aforesaid & was Charged to & paid Poors Rates for the same
in Which Parish he died & was there legally Settled at
the time of his death And this Deponent Since his death hath
not done any Act to gain a Settlement for herself.
