LondonDeposition of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Michael Wood Street
in the Ward of Cripplegate within
London the 9th. day of October 1788
on New of the Body of Thomas Bevan< no role >
then and there lying dead.

John Green< no role > of No: 5: Shovel Court parish of
St. Michael Wood Street London Taylor maketh
Oath and saith that about ½ past one Clock on
Sunday last being at dinner at his said House he
heard an [..] that the deced had at his Throat
that he went to a [..] Room at No. 2 in said Court where deced lay
that he saw decced laying on his leftsideon
a Bed in said Room very bloody and saw his
Windpipe work as if his Throat was cut and on
examination found deced Throat very much cut
that some person in the Room gave Dept. a Razor
and told him that was what deced had committed
the fast withThat a Surgeon was sent for
that a Mr. Wheatley a Surgeon came and sorovel
the deced Wound upthat deded lived until
Tuesday Afternoon about four OClock when he
departed this Life.

Thomas Wheatley< no role > of the Old Jeury Surgeon maketh
Oath and saith that about ½ part One OClock on Sunday
last he was sent for to No. 2 Shovel Court abovementioned
that when he came there he found the deced lying on
a Bed in [..] a Room in said House with his Throat
Cut and a part of his Windpipe appearing out of
the WoundThat he sowed up deced Wound that
deced appeared to he in a violent Fever at the time
that he left the decedThat he attended the
