together with his Wife came to lodge with Dept. [..]
and of November last that the deced was [..]

and to aged in a one pair of Stairs back Room the Room he now
his head in That about ten oClock on Friday Night last [..]
decedDept. hearing somebody at her Street Door went to it
opened the Door & found it to be the deced that he was
very much intoxicated and was endeavouring to get to
the door but was unable from this intoxicated state he
was in Dept. took hold of him and led him into the house
and up to his own Appartment and placed him in a
Stairs Dept. that observed that his Cloaths were dirty as
if he had been down in the Street the deced sayed he had
[..] a severe [..] fall
Dept observed he had got a bruise over his right Eye Dept
shook handswiththe deced and left him with his wife
who had assisted Dept. to get up the deced up Stairs Dept.
says that about nine oClock the next Morning Saturday in
Dept going home he heard the deced was dead That the
deced was very much in the habit of getting intoxicated for a
Week or two together

of the deced maketh Oath that
about ten oClock on Friday Night last she assisted Mr. Bailey
in getting her husband the deced up Stairs to his own appartmt
that he was very much intoxicated and Dept observing he
had a Wound over his Eye asked Mr. Bailey to send up a
little Vinegar to wash the Wound with Dept having got the
Vinegar bathed the diceased Eye and bound an Handkerchief
