The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Parish of St. Lawrence Jewry in the
said City

Sheweth

That by vertue of an Order made under the hands and Seals of
Sir John Thompson< no role > Knight Lord Mayor and Sir Henry Hankey< no role > Knight two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said City (one being of the Quorum)
bearing date the Eleventh day of January instant Mary< no role > the Wife of
James Cowell< no role > otherwise Mary Johnson< no role > was removed from the Parish of
St. Buttolph without Bishopsgate in the Said City to the Said Parish of
St. Lawrence Jewry as the place of the last Legall Settlement of the said
Mary Cowell< no role > otherwise Johnson

That the Petitioners conceiving themselves agreived by the
said Order of Remove all do Appeal against the same unto this Court and

Humbly pray that this Court will please to
Appoint a day for the hearing and determining
of the said Appear
