for the City of London in their Quarter Session Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of Robert Peckham< no role > and Richard
Clark< no role > Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said City (One whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 13th. Day of December One thousand Seven
Hundred and Eighty three Elizabeth Minett< no role > Single
woman was removed and Conveyed from and Out of
the Parish of St. Michael Royal in the said City of
London to the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields
as the Place of her last legal Settlement Whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices
and their Order, and pray that your Worships
will please to Appoint some Day in the Present
Session for the hearing and Determination the
said Appeal and to Order that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Michael Royal aforesaid and all Persons
Concerned do then Attend this Court

And Your Petitioners shall ever
pray Etc.
