Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of St. Leonard shoreditch in this County
exhibited their appeale unto this Court on Tuesday
the twelfth day of July instant setting forth that by a
warrant or Order under the hands & seales of D'oyly
Michel< no role > & Samuel Perry< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties. Justices
of the peace for the said County (Quorum unus) bearing
date the tenth day of May one thousand seven hundred
& twenty Richard Cooper< no role > & Mary< no role > his wife & their two
children (vizt.) Elizabeth< no role > aged about four yeares &
Deborah< no role > aged about two yeareswere removed were
removed from the Precinct of St. Katherine in the said
County to the said parish of St. Leonard shoreditch as
the place of their last legall settlemt. And that the Petrs.
finding themselves aggreived with the Judgmt: of the sd
two Justices appealed to this Court against the sd warrant
or Order, Whereupon It was Ordered by this Court that
the Overseers of the poor of the sd. Precinct of St. Katherine
should attend this Court on this present Thursday the
fourteenth day of July instant at ten of the clock in the
forenoon to heare & abide the Judgmt. & determinacon
of this Court touching the said appeale Now upon the
Oath of William Burton< no role > of the sd. parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch Weaver that on the twelfth day of July instant
he served a coppy of the sd. appeale & Order of this Court
on Thomas Holland< no role > one of the Overseers of the poor of the sd.
