The Humble Appeale of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poore of the parish of St. Peter Le
Poore in London

Sheweth.

That by an Order dated the 6th. of July 1720 Under the
hands & Seals of John Metcalfe< no role > & Wm. Dewe< no role > Esqrs .
Two of his Maties. Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middx (Quorum Unus) by which said Order Robert
Stopford< no role > als Stopforth< no role > with Elianor< no role > his Wife & their Son
Robert< no role > an Infant aged about 9 months were passed from
the parish of St. Andrew Holbourn above Barrs in the
said County of Middx to the said parish of St. Peter Le
Poore London as their last Settlement

That the said Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poore
of the parish of St. Peter Le Poore humbly Conceive
themselves aggreived by the said Order [..] pray an Appeale
to this Honoble. Bench

Your Petrs. Humbly pray this Honoble.
Court to appoint a day for hearing of yor.
