The matter of the peticon & appeale of Stephen Stepto< no role >
preferred unto this Court praying to be discharged-
from the Office of one of the surveyors of the high-
ways in the parish of St. Giles in the fields in this
County In regard he is ancient & very much
afflicted with the Phisick & not able to execute the
same, now comeing on to be heard & determined,
this Court, This Court upon heareing of
was alledged on behalfe of the Petr. and being-
satisfyed of the petrs. inability to execute the sd Office
And Forasmuch as divers of the Inhabitants of the
said parish doe consent to his being discharged from
the said Office Doth think fit and hereby Order that the
Petr. be and he is hereby absolutely discharged from
being one of the surveyors of the high ways within the
said parish, of which the Inhabitants of the sd. parish
& all persons concerned are hereby required take
notice,
