To his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex

Worshipful Sirs

The Petition of Ann Hornby< no role > of the
Parish of St. Andrews Holbourn in the Said County

Humbly Sheweth

That Whereas your Petitioner is a Prisioner in the
new Prison at Clerkenwell for a Fine of Fourteen Shillings
levied by your Worshipes the Sessions before this last, and
your Petitioner's Husband having laboured under a long
Series of Illness, and is now so very infirm, which renders
him incapable of paying the said Fine, or even of allow
ing me ye common Necessaries to support Life, (having two small
Children) & am thereby become a real Object of Pily

Your Petitioner therefore humbly implores the
Releasement

And Your Petitioner as in Duty bound
will ever pray Etc.
