To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions of the peace at Guild hall in King
Street Westminster in the said County assembled.

The humble Petition and appeal of the
Churchwardens and overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within
the City and Liberty of westminster and County of
Middlesex.

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or order under the hands and
Seals of A: Aldrige and Thomas Bishop< no role > Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace Acting in and for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid (one whereof being the Quorum) bearing date the 11th.
day of February 1779 William Fletcher< no role > about the Age of Twelve
Years and Apprentice to Thomas Sherrif< no role > of the Parish of Saint Paul
Covent Garden aforesaid Trunk Maker was removed from the
Parish of Hayes in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish
of Saint paul covent garden as the Place of his last legal
Settlement by which order your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved
and do Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefoe Pray that
this Court will be pleased to appoint a
Day in this present Session to hear and
Determine the said appeal and to order
that all persons concerned may be
directed to Attend

And your Petitioners shall
Pray etc.
