Thomas Smith< no role > Clerk to Thomas Winsloe< no role > of Twickenham in
the County of Middlesex Esquire maketh Oath and Saith that in or about this
Month of [..] October last he received a Note from Hickford
of Twickenham aforesaid Esquire the Majgistrate who some times
previously had bound the Said Thomas Winsloe over to Prosecute
Robert Olds for Felony addussed to the Said Thomas Winsloe
Stating that the Said Thomas Winsloe's Attendance at the then
approaching Quarter Session was not necessary and Deponent
Saith that the Said Hickford at the time of delivering
Such Note informed Deponent that altho' W. Winsloe was bound
over his Attendance was not necessary And this Deponent [..]
that in Consequence of Such Information he Sent Thomas Armitage< no role >
of Twickenham aforesaid Blacksmith the only Winsloe against the Said Robert
Olds
< no role > to London for the Purpose of Prosecution the Said Robert Old< no role >
And Deponent further Saith he hath been informed and verily
belive by the Said Thomas Armitage< no role > that he attended at
the quarter Session held at Hicks Hall with Said Month of
[..] October and was examined as Witness before the Grand Jury
in Support of the Indictment Preferred against the Said Robert
Olds
< no role > which Indictment as Deponent hath heard and believes
was thrown out.
