Informations taken this Third day of
April 1766 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of Westmr
in the County of Middlesex on an Inquisition
taken on View of the Body of a New born
Male Child lying Dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

John Jones< no role > Grove digges in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square on his Oath saith, that about Ten o Clock
yesterday Morning Deft. went into the Burying ground adjoining
to the Workhouse of Said Parish, and there saw a New
born Male Child lye on the Ground about four Yards
from the Gate which opens into Mount Street , wrapt
upon a Piece of course Linnen Cloth which was juror
Says that the said Child was Dead, and that he this
Deponent some time after Carried the Child (which is
the same now produced) into the Bonehouse in
the said Burying Ground.

Joseph Ferdinando Gillio< no role > Surgeon on his Oath
saith That he this day opened the New born Male
Child now produced, and tried the Experiment of
putting the Lungs into Water, and found that they
immediately Sunk, and is of Opinion that the said
Child was Still born.
