on her Oath says she never was married Rented house
paid Taxes or ever served any Apprenticeship Says she
lived as a hired Yearly Servant with one Mr. Bathgate
a Blacksmith in Milford Lane in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex upwards of
two Years at the Yearly Wages of three Pounds or upwards
hath quitted her said Service upwards ofthreefour Years
ago since which time she hath never gained any
other subsequent Settlement And further upon her
Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant with Child or
Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish
of St. Clement Danes she being poor and unable to
maintain the same when born Says that one
Samuel Morris< no role > a Journeyman Taylor who uses the
sign of the Coach & horses on Newington Green had
carnal Knowledge of her Body sometime in the
Month of November last but the particular Day she
does not now remember & at sevl. times afterwards at
one of which times he got her with Child of the Child
or Children of which she is now pregnant and
that the said Saml. Morris< no role > and no other person
did beget the same & that he is the real & true Father
thereof.
