William Nurse< no role > one of the Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St- Clement Danes maketh Oath
that on Searching the Register of Marriages in the
Parish Church of Saint Faith's London about three
Weeks ago found therein that the then Elizth. Cope< no role >
was married to John Cornwall< no role > her husband in the
Year 1775 and by whom she hath one Child now
living named John< no role > aged about four Years as he
has been Informed and verily believes That her said
Husband Rents and lives in a House in the Parish
of St. Romwald als Runwald in the Borough of Colchester in the
County of Essex upwards of four Months at the
Yearly Rent of Ten Pounds and upwards and has
gained no other subsequent Settlement since as
he verily believes.


Sworn this 21st.
