Examination TextEleanor Jennnings aged forty two years on her Oath saith, that She was married to her present Husband John Jennings (an Invalid in the Garrison at Portsmouth) in the parish Church of Saint Ann within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex by Banns in the beginning of May 1785. that her said Husband lived in and Rented a House in Charles Court, in the Strand, in the parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in the Liberty & County aforesaid for the space of One Year and upwards at the yearly Rent of Eighteen pounds besides Taxes, quitted the same last Christmas and hath not done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement. // Sworn the 31st Day of May 1786 Before N Forster // Eleanor Jennings her Mark // S A Wd // P
