Examination Text | Sarah Hopkins aged 37 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish aforesaid upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Clower, a Coal Merchant in St Martin's Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one year and a half at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same 10 years ago, that she hath not done any act to gain a subsequent settlement. Taken the workhouse of 10th day of October 1765. |
