| Examination Text | Mary Mumford aged 44 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Margaret within the liberty of Westminster upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Price in Dukes Street York Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of two years and a half at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 19 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 20th Day of November 1765 before Peter Planck. |
