| Examination Text | Ann Dunford aged about 20 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father John Dunford was a Smith by trade and lived in and rented an house in Hedge Lane in the Parish aforesaid for several years at the yearly rent of [blank] besides taxes and that her father died in the occupation of the said house in Hedge Lane. Taken in the workhouse the 11th Day of September 1767. |
