Examination TextAnn Thompson aged 17 years and upwards lodging with Mrs Honour at Mr Bedells a Grocer in Hanover Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father John Thompson was a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house in Off Alley in the Parish aforesaid but how long he kept the said house what rent he paid the same or when quitted it she this Examinant cannot tell, that her father after he quitted the aforesaid house went abroad, and there died as she this Examinant hath been informed and verily believes, that her mother is also dead, that her father never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes after he quitted the said house in Off Alley to this Examinant's knowledge, that she this Examinant was born in Off Alley in the Parish aforesaid as she this Examinant hath been informed and verily believes.
