Examination TextAnn Sutherland aged about 25 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that she this Examinant hath been informed and verily believes that she was born in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that her father Robin Sutherland was a Shoemaker by trade, that she this Examinant hath been informed and verily believes that he was born in Elgin in Murray in that part of Great Britain called Scotland, that her mother was also born in Scotland, that her Father and Mother both dead, that they her father and mother never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor were yearly hired servants in any one place for 12 months together in England to this Examinant's knowledge. Sworn the 21st Day of December 1767 before Peter Planck.
