Examination Text | Eleanor Fleming aged about 53 years lodging at Mr Reeves' a Carpenter near Chymisters Alley in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of [Edrick] Fleming (who died about 22 months) ago to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Giles in the Fields about eight years ago, that her said husband was a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house in Cecil Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of six years at the yearly rent of 24 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about five years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes afterwards, nor hath she this examinant nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place since the death of her said husband.
