| Examination Text | William Sadler aged 36 Years upon his Oath saith that he was Bound Apprentice by Indenture for Seven Years (bearing date the 29th Sepr 1770 to Alexander Nairn of Little Saint Martins Lane in the Parish oath . Saint Martin in the Fields Cabinet maker & there served his said Master under the said Indenture for the space of Three Years & and half when in consequence of a difference his said Master gain the Examinant , up his Indentures that she was never Assigned all were nor served any one with his said Massed us privity or Consent rented Ten Pounds by the Year been a yearly hired Servant in any place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement.
