Examination TextElizabeth Woodroffe aged 19 Years removed from St James upon her Oath saith that she was never Married nor bound Apprentice that she was a Yearly hired Seven to Mr David seton in Great Suffolk Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the Liberty of Westminster for the space of Two Years at the Yearly Wage of ffour Guineas for the first & Seven Guineas for the second Year Diet & lodging quitted the same on the 26th of December 1791 since which she hath not been a Yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement. And this Examinant upon her Oath further saith that she is no great with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard not Bastard's & to become chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields and that Joseph Pechell who was under Butler to the Hon Mr Walpole No 14 New Burlington St did beget her with the Child or Children she now goes with & is Pregnant of & nor Man else . and that she has been informed & there Dilley believes to be true that the said Joseph Pechell Died on the 1st Day of March last.
