Examination TextAnn Croker aged 40 Years removed Christ Church Surrey upon her Oath saith that she is the Wife of James Croker (gone to Sea) to whom she was Married at St Martins Church the 9th Day of May 1784 , that her said Husband lived in & rented a House in Bull Inn Court , Strand in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the Liberty of Westminster for Michaelmas 1791 to the 3d May 1792 at the Yearly Rent of Sixteen Pounds but never Paid any Taxes since which aforesaid Husband never kept House rented Ten Pounds by the The year paid any Taxes not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that she had Two Children by her said Husband to wit James born on or about the 28th March 1786 and Elizabeth born January 22nd/87.
