Examination Text | Sarah Johnson aged 23 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Nathaniel Hobson at the Hartichoak [sic] near White Hart Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 14 months at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same two years ago, that she never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 25th day of May 1757 before Thomas Kynaston. |
