Examination TextMary Harrison aged 59 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Pancras in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Richard Harrison (who died about six years ago) to she was married at the Fleet about 17 years ago, that he was a Bricklayer by trade and lived in and rented an house in known by the sign of the Black Horse in Vine Street by Chandos Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of two years and upwards at the yearly rent of 13 pounds besides taxes, quitted it about 14 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes afterwards, nor hath she this Examinant nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since her said husband's death. Sworn the third Day of June 1757 before Benjamin Cox.
