by Virtue of A Warrant under the
Hands & Seales of two of his Maties Justices of the Peace wth. in this City one being of the
Quor dated 18th. June 1697 was brought & left by the Churchwardens of Alhallowes
Barkin
wth. yor. Petrs. to be provided for upon her Oath that her last legall settlemt.
was in their said Parish of St. Michaells where shee was a hired Servant
for a years
wth. one Mr. Ward of Colledge hill there whereas in truth the said Barbara lived
two yeares in the said Parish of Alhallowes
Barkin fromwhence shee was brought
And but seaven monethes wth. the said Mr. Ward in yor. Petrs said Parish of St.
Michaells
Yor. Petr. therefore humbly pray yor. Honors. & Worpps To
hear them in the Prmisses And to Quash the said Warrant &
send the said Barbara to the Churchwardens of Athallowes
Barking where shee dwelt two whole yeares And was the
Place of her last settlement According to Law
And shee shall Pray Etc.
