Such Work done and that the Tileing and the other
Work is done in a poor manner And the Court at
the last General Sessions of the Peace holden for
this County by adjornment on the Twenty Seventh
day of February last upon consideration had of the
matters Stated by the Said Report not then Seeing
any reason for allowing the said John Warden< no role > any
greater Sume of Money than the said Sume of
Thirty five pounds Seven Shillings and Seven pence
half penny for the said Work and Materialls
Did (inter al) order and direct that the Said last
menconed Sume should be paid or tendred by
Thomas Burdus< no role > Esqr . Treasurer of the Moneys
received for Repair of the said House of Correccon
unto the said John Warden< no role > for the said Work and
Materials which was accordingly by tendred unto but
not accepted by the said Warden Now upon complaint
made unto this Court by the said John Warden< no role > that
he is not only abated by the said Report Six Shillings
P Square for his Tileing Work according to a
reasonable and usuall price (which amounts to
near Eighteen pounds) but is also a Sufferer by
the Person employed by the said Justices to measure
his Work, neither is he the said Warden allowed
any thing for making Trass Scaffolding round
the Building, furring the roofs or under pinning
the Walls in the Cellar or carrying fourteen
Loads of Rubbish away or for Plumbers or
Plaisterers Work, the charge of which is very
Considerable, and that he humbly conceives
himself much aggrieved and Submitts the
determinacon of the Work aforesaid to Such
able Workmen as this Court shall appoint, And
the Said John Warden< no role > praying this Court will be
pleased to Order that the said Work may be
Viewed measured and Valued by such Workman
