whomesoever as for any advantage or Benefit to this Deponent but it
was Intirely owing to his Ignorance for so doing And this Deponent
Benjamin Brooks< no role > for himself Saith that he also Entered into
Recognizance to appear and prosecute the said John Cresswell< no role > at July
Sessions last at the time be Entered into Recognizance at the
Public Office Malbro. Street one of the Clerks Belonging to the said
Office promised him this Deponent to send him Notice when his
attendance was required and he relying on the [..] Promise
aforesaid and not receiving any such Notice he being Ignorant
as to the Consequence was the Sole Cause of his not Attending Agreeable
to the Conditions of his Said Recognizance And this Deponent Positively
Saith that he did not receive any Sum a Sums of Money not issue
under any Expectation or is he had any Promise or Promises Made
by [..] any Person or Persons Whomsover as for any advantage or
Benefit to this Deponent for So doing And this Deponent Benjamin
Brooks
< no role > and the other Deponent Joseph Stevens< no role > under all the
Circumstances of this Case Humbly pray this Honorable Court
to Discharge their Recognizance:
