| Examination Text | Richard Rose aged 29 years passed from the precinct of White Fryers London to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he was a yearly hired servant to Mr Wren, Bookseller by Harvey Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years at the yearly wages of four, five and six pounds each year diet and lodging, quitted the same about five and a half years ago, that he hath not kept house rented tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Susannah at Aldgate Church the 16th Day of January 1763.
