Examination Text | Mary Cahagan aged 45 years in the workhouse aforesaid this upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Peter Cahagan (who died nine years ago), that since the death of her said husband (having any one child living who is in Ireland) she this Examinant was a yearly hired servant to Mr Kennedy, Cooper in Half Moon Street in the said Parish for the space of one year at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, that she never kept house rented £10 by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since she quitted the said service. Taken as abovesaid the day and year. |
