Examination TextMary Harland aged 37 years at Mrs. Bowen's in Orange Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of William Harland (gone from her) to whom she was married at St Anne's Church within the liberty of Westminster the fifth day of November which was in the year 1744, that he is a Shoemaker by trade and lived in and rented an house in Tun Alley [sic] in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 3 years at the yearly rent of 12 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same six years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the seventh Day of October 1758 before Benjamin Cox.
