Examination TextMary Pinfold aged 33 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she is the wife of William Pinfold (now to sea) to whom she was married at the Fleet about eight years ago, that he is a Pack Thread Spinner by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Anthony Grundy (this Examinant's Father) a Pack Thread Spinner in Harts Horn Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his time out which expired 18 years ago, that he never kept house rented and pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since, that she hath two children living by her said husband to wit Sarah aged about seven years and another female child (not yet christened) aged 13 days both now with this Examinant. Sworn the 13th Day of January 1757 before Benjamin Cox.
