Examination TextAnn Reason aged 33 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Thomas Reason (gone to sea) to whom she was married at St Anne's Church Westminster the third September in the year 1750, that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to John Clement a Cordwainer in Old Round Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served about four years and then ran away, which is about 13 years ago as the said John Clement hath informed this Examinant, and that her said husband never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since to this Examinant's knowledge. Sworn the 16th Day of February 1757 before Benjamin Cox.
